Art Workshop
A great opportunity exists for U3A members to join well-known artist Max Grierson at the Yarra Junction Family Centre on Tuesday 27th May and/or 24th June from 9.30am till 12.30pm for creating art – learning something new or extending your skills. Attendance for each class will be limited to 15 people.
These 3 hour lessons will be an easy introduction to drawing, discovery and expansion of skills. Some use of colour and a variety of mediums will be used, not just drawing in pencil. Aimed at beginners as well as more experienced artists, the class will work through exercises and worksheets, moving to a final observation and drawing from a source image (photo). There will be a significant element of self choice in the workshop.
Materials required: Please bring your own pencils, pens, paint, brushes and paper, together with images, photos and perhaps samples of existing works.
Please contact the office on 5967 1702 to book your spot.
